Florida Blogger Meet Up June 2012 was a B.L.A.S.T!!!

Putting names to faces was the just the icing on the cake. It was so much fun to see everyone’s “blog” personality come to life! All THANKS must go to Jen, Mor, and Tara. What a S.I.M.P.L.Y. wonderful job these ladies did.

 Every last detail was thought of. Fun table prizes [of which I scored baby B’s awesome prize :) ], fun photo props (neon 80’s ish sunglasses, cute blogger meet up “official” sign, and of course all the lovely ladies and one very brave man (Denise’s husband). I also must insert here that Jen’s baby B is so adorable, easy going, and happy. For most of the time she was the quietest person in the room! Thanks Jen for letting me enjoy your little girl! It’s funny that you can just go for lunch with a group of people you never me tin person and feel like your old friends being reacquainted. I cannot wait for the next one. There shall certainly be more. Below are some pictures I have of the event :)

New Blog Design, The Lovely Blog Award, and a Freebie!

     I'm the girl who likes to be original. When I first started my blog I wasn't sure what type of response I would receive. Well, after some time I'm pretty thrilled to have 50+ followers! (P.S. when I reach 100 followers there will be a sweet giveaway for all of you lovely readers to enter!) I originally used a blog template that anyone else could use and when I would see another blogger with it I would think two things. First, you have great taste ha! Second, if it confuses me to see the image associated with my blog on another blog it probably confuses some readers. This put me on the hunt for custom blog designs. OH MY Alicia from Dream Like Magic is AMAZING. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she did EXACTLY what I wanted. She did it so well. I'm in love with it! I hope you all enjoy it to.
      Now as for my sporadic posting, I have been sick and the on Spring Break. My goal is to post at least 4 times a week. Lord willing more as I get more experienced at this.
      Pamela from First Class Teacher awarded me The One Lovely Blog Award! That was super duper sweet of her. I was awarded this award awhile back and my response to it is HERE.       I have also been creating some things. The only thing I ask is for some feedback on TPT. I truly want to do the best I can with what I make. Figuring This All Out

Wow! So I believe I have taken for granted all the amazing blog posts I have read. They all look so pulled together and organized with nice pictures of freebies or TPT/TN packets. I must learn how this is all done. I'm sure in time I will arrive to that place (Lord willing). Well, I was super excited to come across this giveaway hosted by Tunstall's teaching Tidbits. Her blog sucks you in and keeps you going back for more and more inspiration. I'm happy to say that I am one of those teachers who gets President's Day off! Of course I'll be trying to plan and create great learning activities for my sweets. How ironic isn't it? A day off and I'm choosing work (and maybe some Hunger Games. . . ) Hope you enter the giveaway!
